Thursday, April 12

The very first thing we did today after breakfast was go horseback riding. After being shown the reigns of how to ride, we set off at a light trot down the beach. Once the slower horses caught up with the rest of the group, we were shown how to go a little faster. Some of us shot away in a gallop, while some of the horses still needed a little coaxing to go a little faster. However, for some us, the horses were held back, for they had too much horsepower than their riders could handle.

What a wonderful adventure you are having! It is fun to enjoy it vicariously from North Collins (where it remains cold, windy and grey). The blog is the best - we can almost feel like we are there. Enjoy your last day in the tropics - and have a safe journey home!

Dan, have a safe trip home tomorrow. A storm is expected on the east coast this weekend and we may get up to 6" of snow by Monday night! AGHHHH. I hope your flight isn't delayed/cancelled in Newark on Sunday - I'll keep my fingers crossed. I can't wait to see your smiling face home safe and sound. Love You.
P.S. Bandits update: Dietrich was taken out of the game tonight on a STRETCHER 4 minutes into the game. Needless to say, Nighthawks smoked the Bandits 9 - 13.
